ABC Motors is looking for an experienced and results-driven Body & Paint Workshop Manager to lead the daily operations of our Body & Paint facility and drive operational excellence across productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability. This role is ideal for a strong leader with solid technical knowledge in automotive body repairs and paint operations, combined with excellent people management and process improvement skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the Body & Paint Workshop.
- Ensure achievement of departmental sales, productivity, and profitability targets.
- Monitor workshop efficiency, technician productivity, and repair cycle times.
- Ensure high-quality repairs in line with OEM and insurance standards.
- Oversee insurance repair processes, estimates, approvals, and claim follow-ups.
- Manage and monitor the Body & Paint warranty process, including warranty claim validation, documentation, submission, and compliance with OEM requirements.
- Ensure warranty repairs are completed within required timelines and standards.
- Minimize warranty claim rejections through proper process control and quality assurance.
- Drive customer satisfaction and timely vehicle delivery.
- Manage workshop manpower planning, training, and performance.
- Control workshop costs, consumables, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
- Work closely with Parts, Service Advisors, Insurance Partners, and OEM representatives.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop performance.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in Body & Paint operations.
- Proven experience in workshop management within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of panel beating, paint processes, insurance repairs, and estimating.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage operational targets.
- Familiarity with dealership management systems and OEM standards will be an advantage.

Job Profile
- Diploma/Degree holder in Marketing.
- Produce engaging content both online and offline that converts target customers.
- Assist in successful marketing campaigns.
- Explore different acquisition channels, from pay per click campaigns to event management.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team.
- Dynamic and pleasant personality.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to handle multi-tasks.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner.
- Promote and sell our services to new and existing customers (Individual and Corporate).
- Follow up with clients’ appointments.
- Generate service order estimates/quotes for customers.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ensure an excellent after-sales service by conducting close follow up.
- Keep record of all sales leads and update the customer database.
Requirements
- HSC or Diploma.
- At least 1-2 years of working experience (Automotive Sector would be an advantage).
- Valid Driving License.
- Proficiency in English/French.
- Good knowledge of MS Office Tools.
