Procurement Officer

Job Role
- Liaise with local and foreign suppliers for ordering.
- Gather information on parts to be ordered in a timely manner.
- Prepare and send purchase orders to ensure correct and timely delivery.
- Liaise with freight agencies to ensure products are collected from suppliers and reach local destination on-time.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs duties, and licensing requirements.
- Resolve any discrepancies or delays during the import process.
- Monitor payment to suppliers with accounting department.
- Prepare and submit monthly procurement report for HOD.
- Work in collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Maintain accurate procurement and import records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Prepare reports on purchasing trends, supplier performance, and import activities.
- Coordinate with the finance department for supplier payments and budget monitoring.
Your Profile
- Degree or Diploma in Procurement and Supply Management.
- At least 2 – 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience in procurement, importation and warehousing would be a plus.
- Hands-on experience in customs, shipping, freight and imports procedures is desirable.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
- Good leadership skills and proactive.
- Has the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
