ABC Motors Co. Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join its Finance Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective financial management while supporting leadership and audit processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy and continuous updating of accounting records.
  • Prepare monthly draft reports, accounts, returns, and records in compliance with current financial regulations and submit to the Accountant for validation within agreed deadlines.
  • Provide clarifications to authorities when required, in the absence of the Accountant.
  • Prepare draft reports, accounts, and records in accordance with Group standards and procedures.
  • Produce financial information to support the preparation of Board papers, AGM requirements, and ad-hoc requests from Top Management.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget by collecting, consolidating, and analysing relevant information.
  • Prepare budget revisions during the year as required.
  • Analyse variances against budget and provide explanations for under- or over-expenditure in coordination with the Accountant.
  • Maintain proper schedules and documentation to support internal and external audits.
  • Ensure sound cash flow management through regular cash flow reporting and optimisation initiatives.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit processes.
  • Lead and supervise a team of accounting staff, ensuring effective task allocation, workflow organisation, and adherence to processes.

Requirements

  • Fully ACCA qualified.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant working experience.
  • Fully computer literate with strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Strong accounting and financial background.
  • Good communication skills in English and French, both written and spoken.
